Summer Dance Intensive 2026

The Dance Institute Summer Intensive offers students a six-day opportunity
to further their dance education. Faculty with accredited pedagogical education
and career experience will work with students to develop their technical
and artistic skills. An additional, mandatory week is required for TDI’s Professional Education Program students.

Students will participate in Ballet, Jazz and Modern
classes alongside workshops and dance seminars.

OPEN TO AGES:
- 10-13 yrs
- 14+ yrs

DATES:
- Week 1: August 23-28, 2026 — Open to All Students
- Week 2: August 31-September 2, 2026 — Open ONLY to TDI Professional Education Program Students

TIME: 9:00AM-4:00PM Daily

LOCATION: Halifax Dance Studios
(1505 Barrington St, Halifax, B3J 3K5)

RATES:

Week 1:

-EARLY BIRD: $575 (+ $25 reg fee)—Must be paid by or before June 20, 2026
-Regular Rate: $650 (+ $25 reg fee)

Week 1+2 (TDI Professional Education Program Students Only):

-EARLY BIRD: $825 (+ $25 reg fee)—Must be paid by or before June 20, 2026
-Regular Rate: $900 (+ $25 reg fee)
